Energy label for homes

Since 2021, the energy label for homes has changed significantly. The new NTA 8800 methodology provides a much more accurate picture of energy performance than the old simplified label. An official energy label is not only mandatory when selling or renting your home, but also plays a crucial role in the WWS points system.

Renewable Partners will visit you for a comprehensive home assessment. Our skilled advisors will inspect the insulation, glazing, and installations to determine the exact energy requirements of your home. The result is an officially registered label that is valid for 10 years and gives you immediate insight into the sustainability opportunities for your property.

Your Partner in Sustainability and Real Estate Value

Renewable Partners supports property owners, landlords, and managers with independent advice and accurate reports. Whether you want to increase your return through energy ratings or comply with the latest energy legislation, we offer the technical expertise you need for a future-proof real estate portfolio.

Inventory & Planning

Every project begins with a thorough analysis of your real estate needs. Whether it concerns a single property or an entire commercial portfolio, we identify your requirements and schedule an efficient inspection that fits your agenda.

Inspection & Recording

Our certified advisors visit the property to conduct a thorough assessment. During this visit, we collect all technical data, take the necessary measurements (NEN 2580/BBMI), and assess the energy performance and WWS characteristics of the building.

Analysis & Reporting

The collected data is compiled into an official report or energy label. We translate complex data into understandable insights, immediately identifying opportunities for improving efficiency and sustainability in a clear advisory document.

Completion & Implementation

You will receive the final report and we will register the labels in the national databases. After delivery, we remain involved: we advise you on the next steps, such as applying for subsidies (ISDE/DUMAVA) or implementing the proposed improvement measures.

What we map out for you

  • Duringthe on-site inspection, our advisors pay attention to every detail that contributes to the energy performance of the home:
  • Insulation values: We check the insulation of the roof, facades, and floors, including the thickness and type of material.
  • Glazing and Window Frames: The type of glass (e.g., HR++ or triple glazing) and the thermal quality of the window frames are taken into account.
  • Heating and Hot Water: The efficiency of the central heating boiler, heat pump, or solar water heater determines the final score.
  • Ventilation: A good ventilation system is essential for both the label and a healthy indoor climate.
  • Solar energy: The presence and orientation of solar panels are entered precisely to improve the score.
  • WWS Impact: We immediately calculate how many points the label obtained will yield for your maximum rent.
  • Sustainability advice: Each label comes with standard recommendations for raising the home's energy rating.
